ITS supports all of our students, faculty, and staff. We manage and maintain the college’s computer hardware, software, and audio-visual systems, including the computer labs, classroom technology, and more. We facilitate the use of computer hardware, software, and networks by providing support and training to the college community.
ITS Service Desk
At the ITS Service Desk, we provide support for everything you see listed on our Services webpage — things like software, malware and virus removal, network and wifi access, printing, and even the strange or unexplained things that happen on your laptop or smart phone.
If you have a technology-related need or question and you’re not sure where to start, we’re the place.
The ITS Service Desk, located on the first floor of Cofrin Hall, provides full support for all desktop computing, network, printing, etc.
The ITS Service Desk Express, located in Mulva Library, is available evenings and weekends during the academic semester. Staffed by ITS student employees, we provide support for student needs (email setup/troubleshooting, malware, wifi, etc) as well as after-hours needs for faculty and staff.
In addition to the information available here on our website, we also maintain a Knowledge Base containing articles on a variety of subjects, many of which include step-by-step instructions.
Tech Bar
The Tech Bar is also located on the first floor of Cofrin Hall and staffed by ITS student employees, offering resources to assist students, faculty, and staff with the development of digital skills and competencies.
We offer skills training where you can learn things like how to make a Powerpoint presentation or how to build and maintain your own website. This knowledge can be helpful for any field of study and also translates well in any work environment. Visit the following webpage for more information or to setup an appointment.
